Structure and Management
The highest governing body of the North Estonian Blind Association (NEBA) is the General Meeting.
The general meeting meets at least twice a year.
1st meeting: May-June to approve the annual report
2nd meeting: November-December to adopt plans for the New Year.
Other matters within the competence of the general meeting shall be discussed and decided at the first appropriate general meeting. In the periods between the General Meetings, the activities of the NEBA are governed by a board. The management board has from 5 to 9 members.
The Board is elected by the General Meeting for a term of three years.
The chairman of the association receives a small fee from the association for his work.
Other members of the Management Board generally do not receive pay for serving as a member of the Board.
The general meeting has given the board members the right to work in the association on project-funded jobs.
